14. Purchase in Package Form

Here the Provincial Department of Education suggests that it is advisable to purchase each equipment separately depending on the availability of stock and competitive pricing. However, we suggest that it is advisable to buy only the UPS for smart panels from the same supplier, i.e., SMART BOARD + UPS. The specification evaluation so purchased should be done as two equipment.

15. Examples of Previous Similar Projects

Currently there are more than 100 schools in the province with between 50 and 100 tab computers regulated by this Department and the Line Ministry. Also, there are 200 schools in the province that have provided with friendly smart boards related to the subject of English. The technical guidance required for all the above equipment is carried out by the hardware and network teams established in those regions and the necessary maintenance and repair work is carried out by the suppliers within the warranty period of three years.

16. Basic Technical Training

Tab computers and smart boards are identified as devices requiring technical training. The requirement of technical training by the respective supplier for the said equipment is also included in the specification reports prepared by the technical committee.
